Review:

What a fabulous book that displays the beautiful and tender relationship between grandfather and granddaughter. Miriam is such a lovable and playful character. The messaging of this book is showcasing the bond between Iranian-American granddaughter and Iranian grandparents who share so much culture and love with each other. I love the playful tone of this book that keeps the reader engaged. This book paired with Mama Shamsi book brings so much playfulness and Iranian culture that can be shared with kids in your classroom. Islam isn't mentioned, however, Mamanjoon (the grandmother) is illustrated in hijab.
