Call Me by My Name is a picture book explaining 25 names of Allah included with a brief definition/explanation of each one.
Review:
A bilingual picture book that teaches kids the names of Allah (swt) that can also be referenced for memorizing them. The book includes Arabic and English text, the English transliteration of each name is provided as well as the Qur'anic reference for each one. The illustrations are absolutely beautiful with each turn of the page. Mostly, the simple text is direct and clear, a couple of places big words are used without further explanation, like bounty, or majestic. I would have wanted a couple of further kid-friendly on some of those terms, like it is in the rest of the book. I really hope that this is the beginning of a book series that, in total, would include ALL 99 names in the completed set. We really do need books where the Names of Allah are presented to our kids in an engaging way with child-friendly terms and vivid illustrations. I definitely recommend this book.
