This is the 3rd book in this early read series, Eliyas Explains. As a reviewer, I got this question many times... 'Where can I find a book that explains virtues of prayer to my kids?' This is it. The approach is kid friendly and playful so that it is not preachy to the reader. The first half of the book goes on to explain the importance of prayer and draws logical comparisons of daily example for easy understanding. the second half of the book has interactive journaling activities that are directly related to salah.

We often spend a lot of time teaching the correct methodology of how to perform salah, which is the easy practical part. This is just as important for kids to grasp, understanding why and encouraging them to think a little deeper than the surface of performing it on a daily basis. I plan on using this book and really talking it out with my kids during summer break and working on the journaling with them.

This is the perfect book for those who need a little more encouragement with their prayers to get them thinking about why we do what we do. Must have for ALL Muslim spaces.
