Review:

I have been anticipating this book since I read the 1st graphic! Huda's work is so raw and relatable and how she is able to turn the content into humorous reads, it's amazing! This YA book is all about sibling rivalry during a family road trip. The unbearable hours of annoying younger sisters, making wudu in a public washroom at a rest stop, coordinating a 'bonding' schedule during the 3-day trip really makes Huda make some impulse decisions. I love that even though the sisters badger and annoy each other, when it comes to the real world bullies they don't hesitate to bail one another out!

Huda's books always have so much heart! I love the fact that I don't have to worry about about her comics ever crossing the line when it comes to content or Islamic sensitivities (which unfortunately can happen even from Muslim authors). Her books are always so wholesome. I do understand that there is some controversy with the title that some Muslim readers can't get past, however, the content is always guaranteed to be appropriate.
