Review:
The text is written in the perspective of each item, and they tell the reader everything they need to know about what makes that item or place unique. The book offers beneficial information for each featured item. It is filled with Islamic content in every sense of the word. There is a unique approach on how the information is being conveyed is intentionally playful which will attract the readership. It is written in partial rhymes and partial free text. With this style, as a reader, I find it difficult to find the flow when I try to read it. I wish it was all in free text so that the flow is left to the imagination of the reader from start to finish. There is a quiz and a crossword puzzle at the end of the book. Also, four pages of hadith references relating to each topic which is helpful for parents and older kids to reference. Overall, it is a unique concept and topic which will benefit the mini Muslims in personal bookshelves at home and Muslim classrooms/libraries.
