Ibn Sina Review:

These books is an introduction to a Muslim contributor of modern science, Ibn Sina or Avicenna, and the great historian, Ibn Khaldoun. In the text, the language is kept nice and simple and straight forward. Ibn Sina's book is written in first person whereas Ibn Khaldoun's story is written in third person narration. They both come from families that value education greatly and both have memorized Qur'an at a young age. This bit is crucial in highlighting that Islamic faith was of great importance to these individuals who have left their footprints in the history of different branches of science. I really appreciate and love this series because our young readers can be introduced to great Muslim personalities that have helped shape the world of science we know today. They can be empowered see themselves to aspire and do great things. The unique style of illustrations makes this book series visually stand out from other picture books in the market. This book series is so important to have available in school libraries and personal book shelves.
