This book is a Muslim mother's ode to her precious child. Through heartfelt duas, the mother describes her unwavering love, affirmations and hopes for her little one.

Review:

In this book, not only do we find an abundance of sincere duas (prayers) but the words of love, hope, dreams and aspirations that a Muslim parent's heart contains. Prayers for guidance, faith, selflessness, kindness and generosity. The illustrations are absolutely dreamy and beautiful. The language is simple and easy to follow, however, in some areas the rhyming flow is slightly inconsistent so I found myself re-reading. However, that doesn't affect the message and the sweet tone of the book. This book would make such a wonderful baby gift for new mothers.

As a mother, I was able to relate to the feelings that have been poured into the words. I can't help but think about all the kids who can no longer feel the warmth of their mother's arms or all the mothers who have had their child's short life snatched right in front of their eyes.
