Review:

This story follows Raisah and her family on a special boat trip. It is lyrical in text. Each page spread has one side where different parts of the journey is described followed by a Qur'anic ayat that coincides with the trip. When we have so many books that try to stay away from 'preachy' content, I truly appreciate what this book has to offer. We need Islamic books that aren't afraid to cite religious text as a way to incorporate them to the story. This book can be a great tool to discuss the marvelous creations of Allah Almighty and encourage the little ones to be more observant with their surroundings. I'm so glad we have this book in our collection!
