Review:

This is an adorable rhyming book that is a resourceful tool to familiarize the little ones about hajj. The story itself is written in simple language and rhyme. It is narrated in 3rd person and the cute pigeons are used as a vehicle to tell the story. I was quite pleased with the thickness of the book for the cost of it. Aside from the story, spread across two pages is a visual diagram of what happens on hajj from moment of intention all the way to the farewell tawaf. In addition, there is a Hajj Facts and Match activities. Furthermore, there is a three-page glossary with hajj related words and detailed explanations. The illustrations are well done, and they are done by a 12-year-old with a passion for drawings and this was her first project published. I mean that alone speaks volumes. I noticed that there is a faceless edition of this book which I absolutely love that the publisher has decided to offer. This adorable book makes learning about hajj quite fun actually.
